DESCRIPTION:
Junghans, German, 8 day quarter striking walnut bracket clock, (2-train) c1910
CONDITION:
the impressive architectural case's finish and brass accents have been nicely restored and polished. The brass dial has some tarnishing, especially on the silvered chapter ring. The two-train trademarked (Star-J) movement does quarter hour bim-bams, but needs adjustment to strike, as just one gong for the hour counts; otherwise it seems to tick and strike okay. The minute hand is replaced. Ht 19"
